Bengaluru/ Delhi : In the Karnataka Assembly elections It’s a three-cornered contest between the Congress, the BJP and the JD(S). While the ruling Congress and the BJP are the main contenders, former prime minister HD Deve Gowda's JD(S) is expected to play kingmaker.

Yeddyurappa Mentally Disturbed: Siddaramaiah
Incumbent Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on the day of polling said that BJP’s CM candidate Yeddyrappa was “mentally disturbed”. He added that his party would get more than 120 seats.
“We are very-very confident that Congress party will come back to power with complete majority,” said Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, after casting his ballot in Mysuru's Varuna constituency.

Bengaluru Records 17% Voter Turnout at 11 AM
Dakshina Karnataka and Udupi recorded the highest voter turnout at 11 am, with 31 percent of the electorate practising their franchise. On the other hand, Bengaluru (Urban) recorded a turnout of 17 percent.
JD(S) Will Cross Magic Number on Its Own: Kumaraswamy
