Bhubaneswar(SPB) : Reservation counters at Bhubaneswar railway station and other railway stations are made functional from today . Three counters being operated and Tickets are being issued.All important and Large stations with Reservation counters opened for public to purchase tickets for all types of special trains running.200 special trains announced day before yesterday. 15 pairs of AC special trains were running before from May 15. Tickets available for 230 trains now.
In a letter bearing (letter No.2020/TG-I/10/P/COVID 2019 on 21.05.2020 )written to all The PCCMs, All Zonal Railways, Director Passenger Marketing Railway Board has witten " it is further advised that w.e.f. 22.05.2020 facility of booking/cancellation of reserved tickets shall also be available at Post Offices, Yatri Ticket Suvidha Kendra (YTSK) licensees etc. and through authorized agents of Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) along with computerized Passenger Reservation System (PRS) counters of Indian Railways available in railway premises/reservation centers and Common Service Centers (CSC).
All concerned may adhere to standard social distancing guidelines andobserve hygiene protocol in view of spread of COVID-19 disease. Necessary instructions may be issued to all concerned accordingly"
