୭୦ ତମ ରାଜ୍ୟସ୍ତରୀୟ ପୋଲିସ ଦୌଡ କୂଦ ପ୍ରତିଜୋଗିତା ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱରସ୍ଥ କଳଙ୍ଗି ଷ୍ଟାଡୟିମଠାରେ ଆରକ୍ଷୀ ମହାନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶକ ଅଗ୍ନିଶମ ସେବା, ମହାସମାଦେଷ୍ଟା ଗୃହରକ୍ଷୀ ବାହିନି ଓନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ବେସାମରିକ ପ୍ରତିରକ୍ଷା ସଂଗଠନ ବିଜୟ କୁମାର ଶର୍ମାଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଉଦଘାଟିତ ହୋଇଯାଇଛି | ଏହି ଉପଲକ୍ଷେ ଆୟୋଜିତ ମାର୍ଚ୍ଚପାଷ୍ଟ ରେ ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଅତଥିି ଶ୍ରୀ ଶର୍ମା ଅଭିବାଦାନ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଥିଲେ | ଖେଳାଳି ମାନଂକୁ ଖେଳୁଆର୍ଡ ମନୋଭାବ ସହ ପ୍ରତିଯୋଗିତା ଗୁଡିକରେ ଅଂଶ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରବିାକୁ ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଅତଥିି ଶ୍ରୀ ଶର୍ମା ପରାମର୍ଶ ଦେଇଥିଲେ ! ଏହି ଉଦ୍ଘାଟନୀ ଉତ୍ସବନର ଆଯୋଜକ କମିଟିର ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ସତ୍ୟଜିତ ମହାନ୍ତି, କମିଟିର ସମ୍ପାଦକ ତଥା ପରିଚାଳକ ଶ୍ରୀ ସଞ୍ଜିବ ପଣ୍ଡାଙ୍କ ସମେତ ଅନେକ ବରିଷ୍ଠ ଅଧିକାରୀମାନେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଥିଲେ | କମିଟିର ସହ ପରିଚାଳକ ସତ୍ୟାନାରାୟଣ ଜମାଦାର ଓ କ୍ରୀଡା ଅଧିକାରୀ ବିଭୁତି ଭୂଷଣ ପରିଡା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ପରିଚାଳନା ରେ ସହଯୋଗ କରିଥିଲେ |
Odisha Police is organizing its 70th Athletic Championship in Kalinga Stadium Bhubaneswar from 02.02.2018 to 05.02.2018. For the first time the track and jump events are being conducted in the synthetic track of the Kalinga Stadium. This exposure will help the athletes to gain experience of synthetic track and its will be helpful during their participation in National and International level competition. Altogether 52 contingents from different districts, battalions and otganizations are participating in this championship. 990 athletes including 135 women athletes are participating in this championship. There are 23 events in male category and 13 events in female category. The male athletes have been accommodated at the 7th Battalion Premises in a specially designed .'KIIEL GAON" (Sports Village), whereas the female athletes have been accofirmodated in the Kalinga Stadium. All required facilities have been arranged at the .'KHEL GAON". The khel gaon was inaugurated by Dr. R.P. Sharma, IPS, DGp, odisha on 01 .02.2018 at 07:30 pM. The 70th State Police Athletic Championship has been inaugurated by the Sri B.K. Sharma, IPS, D.G of Police, Fire Service, Home Guards and Director Civil Defence on 02.02.2018. The contingents put up a wonderful and colourful Marchpast before the august gathering. Many star players of Odisha Police have participated in the parade. LNK-Biglnaraj Miridia of OSAP 6'h Bn, Cuttack who is an International Athlete, administered the oath to the participants. During the championship, 100 mtrs, 200 mtrs, 400 mtrs, g00 mtrs, 1500 mtrs, 5000 Kms, 10000 Kms, Cross Country (12 I(ms), Marathon (42 Kms), High Jump, Long Jump, steeple chase, pole vault, Discuss, Javelin Throw, Hammer Throw, Shot Put throw, Decathlon etc. will be organized. Odisha Police is conducting the full marathon of 42.195 kms in which more than 100 athletes participate.
