NIroj Mishra/Bolangir : To enhance the livelihood security of farmers, AJSA in joint collaboration with Caritas India has organised a seed distribution program on 8th July 2018 at Godheswar Village of Birmaharajpur block of sonepur district.

 

The program was inaugurated by the Honorable M.P of bolangir Sri Kalikesh Singh Deo and Sri.Padmanabh Behera hon'ble MLA of Birmaharjpur. During the event Sri. Singh Deo shared his views on different resilient farming models, benefits of kitchen garden and the role of communities in Disaster Risk Reduction etc. And also opined the local farmers to adopt the resilient crop varieties in farming to reduce the impact of disasters on livelihood. At the end of the event he also distributed seeds to the farmers along with other guests.

 

The programme was attended by more than 300 participants including farmers,SHG leaders, Government Officials, PRIs and community leaders
