Rourkela/Sushanta Behera : Rourkela Steel Plant(RSP) has been organising several programmes both within the plant premises as well as outside to mark the Vigilance Awareness Week, On 29th October, a Vendors and Suppliers Meet was organised at CPTI. Mr. V K Mathur, GM(MM & Marketing) was the Chief Guest of the occasion. Also present on the dias were Mr. M K L Chand, GM(F&A) and Mr. A C Rathi, ACVO. In all 79, vendors, suppliers, customers and RSP Officers from MM and Finance Department participated in the event. A presentation was made by Ms. Shikha Jain, Manager (MM), RSP on Materials Management procedures and M Junction, process, requirements and policies, which was followed by an open house discussion. Several issues pertaining to contract, performance, delivering of quality service and process improvement were discussed on this occasion. The meeting was held in a very cordial environment and many issues were resolved through mutual agreement.

 Mr. A C Rathi, ACVO delivered the welcome address while Mr. V K Yadav, AGM, Vigilance proposed a formal vote of thanks. The programme was coordinated by Mr. Anand Kumar, Assistant Manager, Vigilance.

A programme on ‘Decision Making within Organisational Context and PCP – ’14 was organised at HRD Centre 29th in which 26 executives from different departments of works and non-works area participated in the programme.

On the same day a quiz competition was organised by Ethics Club of Ispat English Medium School, Sector – 20, in the school premises. Around 200 students participated in the written quiz. Painting competitions were also organised for the students at Ispat English Medium School, Sector – 18 and Delhi Public School.
