Bhubaneswar/Shasak Prashasak : On the written report of Ajaya Kumar Behera (39) s/o Late Bhramarbar Behera of vill: Kusumi PS: Mahulapali, Dist: Sambalpur the above referred case has been registered that, some unknown culprit committed day burglary of cash Rs. 290000/- from his house while he and his family members went to Gudguda to attained Biswasanti Mahajagyan on 23.11.2018. He searched for the stolen cash as well as the culprits but in vain for which on 26.11.2018 at 5 PM reported the matter at Kusumi OP for legal action.

During the course of investigation it came to the light that on the date of occurrence Manbodh Kisan and Umesh Kisan were engaged by the owner of Tent house for construction of his house adjacent to the house of the complainant for which they were strongly suspected in this case. On interrogation they confessed their guilt and admitted to have committed theft of Rs. 2,90,000/- from the spot house along with Jasketan Kisan and distributed the same among themselves and lead police and witnesses and gave recovery of cash Rs. 2,80,000/-. The accused have been arrested and case is registered Mahulapali PS Case No. 167 dt. 27.11.2018 U/s 454/380 IPC.
