~ Mohd Raheel stars with a double goal in India's opening match win at the U-23 Five Nations Tournament (Men) ~

Antwerp (Belgium) : The Indian Junior Men's Hockey Team marched to a comfortable 5-0 win against Ireland in their opening match at the U-23 Five Nations Tournament (Men) that began here on Saturday. 

After a goal-less first quarter, the Indian Junior Men's led by Dipsan Tirkey found their momentum as they struck a splendid field goal in the 20th minute through Rajkumar Pal. Mohd Umar doubled the team's lead in the 25th minute with an impressive field goal and three minute later Mohd Raheel converted a PC to take India's lead to a comfortable 3-0. 

While the team's defence remained unbreakable with Irish forwards finding little space in the striking circle to convert. Meanwhile, the team's attack worked its way to fetch two more goals in the 32nd and 60th minutes through Shilanand Lakra and Mohd Raheel respectively.  

On 15 July 2018, Indian Junior Men's team will take on Great Britain at 18.30 hours IST.
