Malkangiri polic nabbed director of ASHA CONSTRUCTIONS for suspicious reason

Malkangiri: On 05.10.2018 night, while chitrakonda Police staff were performing patrolling duty, received information that one person having one backpack with him moving suspiciously near village Doraguda on Pupulur road. Basing on this information, Police party rushed to the spot and detained the person. He fumbled to answer as to why he was standing in darkness in a lonely place. During search following articles were recovered from his possession.   

  1.One black-sky blue colour bag with HI-JACK written on it, 2.Ten numbers of electrical detonators, 3. Electric wire of approx. 20 mtr, 4. One towel having white-red colour check, 5. One Ajanta tooth brush with cover, 6. One small size colgate tooth paste, 7. One blue colour use and throw ball point pen, 8. One photo copy of hand written note, 9. A white-metalic colour mobile phone of OPPO Company (with a BSNL SIM),. 10. Cash of 61,738/- (Sixty one thousand seven hundred thirty eight only) of different denominations.

On interrogation he confessed that the above noted articles were to be given to the Maoists of Kalimela Dalam as per their demand. There was a meeting fixed with Randev on 05.10.2018 night in Pupulur jungle. He was waiting for one militia to come to Doraguda Chhak who would have taken him to Kalimela Dalam. He did not show the license or any supporting documents for possession of such contraband articles. So, Police seized the articles from him and arrested him. He is identified as Taraknath Paul (41) S/O- Susil Paul of village-MPV38, PS- Kalimela, Dist-Malkangiiri. He is the director of ASHA CONSTRUCTIONS Company. He is working with another contractor Ardhendu Sarkar. ASHA CONSTRUCTIONS Company has taken the contract of M.I. department, R&B department, R.D. department of government at present. In this connection a case has been registered in Chitrakonda P.S vide no. 96/18 dt. 05.10.2018, u/s- 120-B/121/121-A IPC r/w sec 5 of E.S Act r/w sec 11/17 of U.A.P. Act. Further investigation in this matter is on.
